I grew up in Merced, California, and later moved to Utah for college. After graduating, I worked in San Francisco for a few years before meeting and marrying my husband. After we got married, we lived in Mesa, Arizona and then moved to Utah in 2020. We love it here!

I'm the youngest of 8 kids, and I was always active in sports and singing groups growing up. The best decision I ever made was in 2014 when I married Tim Whiting!! Life is so fun with him! We have 4 children- 2 boys and 2 girls- and life is busy and full in the best way! Our oldest daughter has been in Singers Company and has loved it! I'm so grateful to be a director so I can be a part of bringing joy and confidence to other girls in the neighborhood!

Sports were a big part of my life growing up, especially soccer and tennis. I still try to get out to play as much as I can. I also love hiking and gardening- spending time in my vegetable garden is one of my favorite things. It’s even better when my kids join me, and we get to work together, talk, and have fun. I also love doing home improvement projects- I've built mudroom cubbies, redid our fireplace, built custom closets and a children's craft table and chairs. I love the feeling of accomplishment when I finish a project like that!

I started at BYU for two years, then transferred to UVU where I earned my degree in Dental Hygiene. I worked in that field for 11 years and loved it! Once I had our 3rd baby I decided to take a break to spend more time at home.
